Diversity Equity and Inclusion:
Statement of Diversity and Inclusion Adapted from AAEM’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee Mission, we will:
-Strive to increase diversity and decrease inequality within the field and practice of emergency medicine.
-Promote racial, gender, and ethnic diversity within the residency program.
-Educate peers regarding the impact of explicit and implicit bias on clinical practice and our ability to care equitably for all of our patients.
-Regularly engage and revisit discussions of diversity and inclusion, particularly within the didactic conference setting.
